Specialized Technical Laboratory Staff at the Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Studied for three years at the Physics Department of the NKUA which he left in order to study literature and comics in Montreal, Canada first at McGill University and then at Concordia University where he received his BA in history and creative writing. While in Montreal he also took courses in comics and illustration at Dawson College. Upon returning to Greece he worked in the field of graphic design and desktop publishing for the public and private sector. He has published extensively his comics and comic strips in various publications and over a period of seven years created a political comic strip for one of the main political newspapers in Athens. He holds a master's in creative writing from the Hellenic Open University where he is also currently a PhD candidate on modern Greek literature. His research interests focus on the literature of 19th century Greece, the theory of pictorial narrative, the adaptation of modern Greek literature into comics and graphic novels and their various applications in educational practices and the health sciences.
