Vangelis TriantafyllouVangelis Triantafyllou is an appointed lecturer, in the department of Philosophy, University of Athens. He studied mathematics, at the Mathematics department of the University of Athens, and did postgraduate studies in Philosophy, at the department of History and Philosophy of Science, of the University of Athens. In the same department he produced his doctoral thesis, in Philosophical Logic, entitled "Logic and semantics for languages containing vague predicates", where a non-transitive system of logic, for vague languages, is developed and studied. His research interests focus on the areas of Philosophical Logic, History of Logic, and Philosophy of Language, with an emphasis on the development of interdisciplinary approaches.
