Overview: Achilleas Kleisouras is a Specialized Technical Laboratory Staff at the Department's Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory. He originally studied Physics at the University of Athens for three years and then literature and comics in Canada where he received his BA. Has worked extensively in the field of graphic design and desktop publishing for the public and private sector. He has published comics and comic strips in various publications. Over a period of seven years created a political comic strip for one of Athens' major newspapers. He holds a master's in creative writing from the Hellenic Open University and is currently a PhD candidate at the same University in the field of Modern Greek Literature. His research interests focus mainly on the literature of 19th century Greece and it's adaptation into the comic form, as well as the various applications of comics and graphic novels in the medical field (i.e. graphic medicine).
