Overview: Achilleas Kleisouras is employed as a Special Technical Laboratory Staff at the Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory of the Department of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He studied Physics at the University of Athens, History and Creative Writing at McGill and Concordia University, and Comics and Illustration at Dawson College in Montreal, Canada. He holds a Master's in Creative Writing from the Hellenic Open University and is currently a PhD candidate at the same University in the field of Modern Greek Literature. His research interests focus mainly on the literature of nineteenth century Greece and it's adaptation into the comic form, as well as the various applications of comics and graphic novels in the medical field (i.e. graphic medicine). He is also an illustrator and comic strip artist and several of his works have appeared in Greek publications over the years. He has published a comic album and authored a collection of short stories in English.
